The macaron is a traditional french pastry, based on almonds that
dates back to the 18th century.
However, the true Macaron de Paris was “born” in the early 20th
century, when Pierre Desfontaines mixed two macarons with a
special mix of chocolate (ganache).
Ever since, more and more people have discovered this heavenly
creation and what was once born in France, is now a treat that
charms the whole world.
That very same charm is exactly what we felt when we were first
“introduced” to the macaron, during one of our trips to the City of
Lights, where we were surpassed by the incredible variety of flavors
and colors and amazed by this unparallel combination that stimulates
all five senses.
